Rosario’s Harbour is one of the most important Cereal Shipping Terminals in the country to which an intricate railway system that transports grains from production centers flows.
COINTEC took part in the executive project for civil and electromechanical works for the extension and remodeling of Playa Villa Diego south access to the Harbour.
Remodeling included the installation of a dynamic scale for wagon weighting with its associated command system.
Moreover, COINTEC produced an Industrial Costs Study for the implementation of Temperley – Ezeiza and Constitución – Ezeiza Roca Railway Sectors.
COINTEC also intervened in engineering services for railway Works in other countries.
The railway path Sonaguera – Puerto Castilla – Bonito Oriental extends along 145 km., giving the necessary maritime outlet for the agricultural products of Honduras.
COINTEC’s staff was particularly distinguished in this Central American country to do the recognition of the track layout and the implementation at the level of preliminary project of soil movement engineering, drainage and prestressed concrete bridges.
In the area of road transport, COINTEC has done climatic-operative studies of roads preservation of Fiscal Oilfields in the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego and studies of industrial costs for its maintenance.
